Description 

Screen where all the encounters closed by the supplier and ready to be invoiced will be displayed. From this screen, the process for the creation of the claims associated and not associated to the encounters begins.


Access 


Through Main Menu
  • On the main screen, click on the Billing button. 
  • Then, press the Create button, located at the top of the screen. 
  • Or, press the New Claim button.
Through QuickLinks
  • On the main screen, click on the QuickLinks text located at the top of the screen and select the Billing option. 
  • Then, click on the Create button, located at the top of the screen.
Through Patients
  • On the Patient Details screen, click on the Billing button located at the top of the screen and select the Go To Billing option. 
  • Then, press the Create button, located at the top of the screen.
Through Appointments
  • On the Appointments screen, press the Billing button located at the top of the screen and select the Go To Billing option. 
  • Then, press the Create button, located at the top of the screen.


Sections 


Buttons 

  • Offices: Allows you to select the office that will handle the claims.
  • Reset Layout: Allows to restore the original screen layout.
  • Refresh: Update the screen. 
  • Previous: Pressing will close the screen. 


  • Quick Claim / Create Claim without Encounter: Section where by simply searching for a patient and selecting whether that patient's visit was 15 or 30 minutes, an invoice can be created. (Claims made from this section are not related to the encounters created from the clinical area).
  • Búsqueda de paciente: Section where the user can search for the name of the patient, who wants to create a new claim. 

  • Add Service Line: Initial New Visit - 30 Minutes: By selecting this option and pressing the Create Claim button, you will create a claim, with the code 99201.

  • Add Service Line: Initial Office / Outpatient Visit - 15 Minutes: Al seleccionar esta opción y presionar el botón de "Create Claim'', creará una reclamación, con el código de 99211. 


Buttons:

  • Create Claim: By searching for the patient and selecting this button, you can start creating a claim (these claims must be saved by the user in the Claim Editor screen).
  • Queue Claim: By searching for the patient and selecting this button, all claims will be moved to a waiting list, to be created all at the same time.
  • : By pressing this button, ALL encounters displayed in the Unbilled Clinical Encounter table will automatically be moved to the Create Claim Queue table.
  • Unbilled Clinical Encounters: Section where the different encounters will be displayed, of all those patients who have closed encounters within the application and a claim has not been created. This table has several options that are performed by selecting the encounter. Among them are:
    • Presionando dos veces sobre el encuentro: By double clicking on the encounter, the encounter will automatically go to the Create Claim Queue table to be listed for claim creation.
    • Presionando el botón derecho del "mouse" sobre el encuentro: By pressing the right mouse button on the encounter, the option called Ignore / Mask as processed will be displayed, selecting this option means that it cannot be viewed again, nor can it be claimed.
  • Create Claim Queue: Section where the selected claims are located, to be created.
    • Presionando dos veces sobre el encuentroDouble-clicking on the encounter will take you back to the Unbilled Clinical Encounters table.
    • "Clear All": By pressing this button, all encounters will be removed from the Create Claim Queue table and will be moved back to the Unbilled Clinical Records table.
    • "Create": By pressing this button, all the encounters located in the table named Create Claim Queue will have a claim created for them (these must be saved by the user in the Claim Editor screen).
