BEFORE

 The provider's username and password with the Clearinghouse must be configured to verify patient eligibility. Additionally, the patient must provide their insurance company information.


AFTER

FOR COVERAGE ELIGIBILITY SEARCH

  • Navigate to the Appointment screen.
  • Choose the desired patient eligibility criteria.
  • Click on the "More" button, located at the top of the screen, and select the "Eligibility" option. 


  • Alternatively, click the information button located next to the patient's name and choose the 'Eligibility' option.


  • Alternatively, select a patient from the calendar and then click on the 'Eligibility' button, which is located on the right side of the screen in the Side Panel section.


  • The following screen will be displayed: 


  • To view the pharmacy coverage, please click on the "Pharmacy" tab.
  • The subsequent screen will display the pharmacy eligibility information.


SEARCH FOR HEALTH PLAN ELIGIBILITY
  • Upon accessing the eligibility screen, the coverage details of the patient's medical plan will be displayed.


SEARCH FOR PHARMACY ELIGIBILITY
  • Select the Pharmacy tab.


Option #1 Search eleigibility for NON-existing patients

(For health plan eligibility only, this option does not apply to pharmacy eligibility search.)

  • From the main menu, select the 'Eligibility' button. Alternatively, click on 'QuickLinks' at the top of the screen and choose the 'Eligibility' option. 
  • Modern Main Menu: Press the button called "Eligibility".


  • Classic Main Menu: To check your eligibility, please click the 'Eligibility' button located in the upper right corner of the screen.


  • Perform the following steps:
    • Record the patient's first and last name.
    • Record the patient's date of birth.
    • Select the patient's gender.
    • Record the patient's address. The city field, will fill up automatically, as soon as you enter the zip code.
    • Record the patient's health plan information.
    • Once all the information is registered, click on the Services button, located at the top of the screen or click the "Refresh" button, located in the center of the screen.


  • Patient eligibility will be displayed.
