Description

Section where the relevant information regarding the aging and summary of the selected medical plan will be displayed. It contains the following details:


Access


Through Main Menu

  • On the main screen, click on the Billing button. 
  • On the screen that appears, select the insurance company and then click on the Payer Summary tab, located on the left side of the screen.

Through QuickLinks

  • On the main screen, click on the QuickLinks text located at the top of the screen and select the Billing option. 
  • On the screen that appears, select the insurance company and then click on the Payer Summary tab, located on the left side of the screen.  

Through Patients

  • On the Patient Details screen, click on the Billing button located at the top of the screen and select the Go To Billing option. 
  • On the screen that appears, select the insurance company and then click on the Payer Summary tab, located on the left side of the screen.  

Through Appointments

  • On the Appointments screen, click on the Billing button located at the top of the screen and select the Go To Billing option. 
  • On the screen that appears, select the insurance company and then click on the Payer Summary tab, located on the left side of the screen.  

Sections

Unbilled 
  • Encounters: Total unbilled encounters for the selected medical plan. 
  • Estimate: Estimated amount of money from unbilled encounters of the selected medical plan. 
Pending Electronic Payments Vouchers
  • Vouchers (835): Number of outstanding electronic payments for the selected medical plan. 
  • Gross $: Amount of outstanding electronic payments for the selected medical plan. 
Aging - 30 60- 61-90+
  • Billed: Amount of money billed, in the periods displayed. 
  • Paid: Amount of money paid, in the periods deployed. 
  • Balance: Amount of money on balance sheet, in the periods shown. 
  • Adjusted: Amount of payment adjustment money, in the deployed periods or more of the selected medical plan. 
Claim Balance vs Gross Payments
  • Open Balance YTD: Amount of money from outstanding balances so far this year.  
  • Open Balance: Amount of money in outstanding balances.
  • Closed Balance: Amount of money in closed balances.
  • Paid YTD: Year-to-date gross claims payment for the selected health plan. 
  • Paid: Gross payment of claims, from the selected medical plan. 
  • Adjusted: Gross payment of adjustments to the claims of the selected medical plan. 
Open Claims By Status (Tabla)
  • Status: Displays the status of open claims for the selected plan. 
  • Claims: Number of open claims, by selected health plan status. 

  • Billed: Amount of money billed, from open claims, by selected health plan status.

  • Paid: Amount of money paid, from open claims, from the selected medical plan.  
  • Balance: Amount of money in the outstanding balance of the open claims of the selected medical plan.
