There are several options for merging duplicate records. 


Option #1 

  • In the main menu, press the “Patients” button. 


  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • Press the “More” button, located at the top of the screen.
  • Select the “Merge” option.


  • The “Patient Duplicates Merge” screen will be displayed.


  • This screen may display a list of possible duplicate patient records. This according to the patient's first name, last name and date of birth.


  • Identify the desired patient record, such as the “Main Record”.
  • Once selected, press the "Select" button.


  • When you press the “Select” button, the record will be placed in the section called “Main Record”.


  • Identify the second patient record, this will be the duplicate record.
  • Once selected, press on the "Select" button.


  • Once the “Select” button is pressed, the record will be displayed in the “Duplicates Records to Merge” section.


  • Important Notes:
    • If you wish to remove the selected record from the “Duplicates Records to Merge” section, click on the “Remove” button.
    • If you wish to identify the record found in the “Duplicates Records to Merge” section as the main record, press the “Set As Main” button.
    • Also, if you wish to manually identify the record, press the “Search” button. 
  • To complete the merging of records, press the “Merge” button, located at the top of the screen.


Option #2

  • Click on the “QuickLinks” text, located at the top of the screen. 
  • Choose the "Patients" option.


  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • Press the “More” button, located at the top of the screen.
  • Select the “Merge” option.


  • The “Patient Duplicates Merge” screen will be displayed.


  • This screen may display a list of possible duplicate patient records. This according to the patient's first name, last name and date of birth.


  • Identify the desired patient record, such as the “Main Record”.
  • Once selected, press the "Select" button.


  • When you press the “Select” button, the record will be placed in the section called “Main Record”.


  • Identify the second patient record, this will be the duplicate record.
  • Once selected, press on the "Select" button.


  • Once the “Select” button is pressed, the record will be displayed in the “Duplicates Records to Merge” section.


  • Important Notes:
    • If you wish to remove the selected record from the “Duplicates Records to Merge” section, click on the “Remove” button.
    • If you wish to identify the record found in the “Duplicates Records to Merge” section as the main record, press the “Set As Main” button.
    • Also, if you wish to manually identify the record, press the “Search” button. 
  • To complete the merging of records, press the “Merge” button, located at the top of the screen.
