There are several options for configuring the progress note report templates.  


Option #1

  • Click on the QuickLinks text, located at the top of the screen. 
  • Select the Settings option.


  • The following screen will be displayed: 


  • Click on the General button and select the Staff & Providers option. 


  • The following screen will be displayed: 


  • Select the provider for which you wish to configure the progress note report. 
  • Once selected, press the P.N. Settings button located at the top of the screen. 


  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • Press the New button, located at the top of the screen. 


  • The Templates field will be enabled, to write the description of the template. 
  • Then select the provider, to which you will make the configuration. 
  • Select the Is Default checkbox, if this will be the Template, which will always be used by the provider.


  • You will also be able to configure the progress note template, by gender and age. 


  • Drag the sections, which you want to include in the progress note template, from the Available Items column into the Template Items column. 


  • Select an Order Set for the Template, if applicable. A message will be displayed when opening a progress note with the Template containing an Order Set. 


  • Press the Add button in the Closing Procedures Codes section if you wish to add a procedure code to the template when closing the progress note.  


  • The following screen will be displayed: 


  • Select the procedure code. Once selected, press the Save button located at the top of this screen. 
  • The code will automatically be displayed in the Encounter Procedures section of the Close Encounter screen.


  • Then, proceed to press the Add button, in the Encounter Diagnosis Codes section, if you wish to add a diagnosis code to the Template. 


  • The following screen will be displayed: 


  • Select the diagnostic code. Once selected, press the Save button located at the top of this screen. 
  • The code will automatically be displayed in the Billable Problem List section of the Close Encounter screen.


  • Once you have completed the template configuration, press the Save button located at the top of the screen. 


  • The configuration will be automatically saved. 


Option #2

  • Click on the QuickLinks text, located at the top of the screen. 
  • Select the Staff and Providers option.


  • The following screen will be displayed: 


  • Select the provider for which you wish to configure the progress note report.

Option #3

  • Press the Settings button in the main menu.  


  • The following screen will be displayed: 


  • Click on the General button and select the Staff & Providers option.

  • Select the provider for which you wish to configure the progress note report.
