Description

Screen where you can access the patient's clinical record(s).  You can access orders, delete open progress notes, access electronic labs received, create clinical reports, view past encounter history and send text messages to the patient.

Through Main Menu

  • Click on the Clinical button, in main menu. 


Sections


Buttons

  • Encounter Signoff: Screen to be used by Physiatrists, Physical Therapists and Chiropractors.
  • Refresh: Allows to update the screen.
  • Disclosures: Displays, or documents, the disclosure of selected patient information.
  • View Orders: Reviews prescriptions, lab orders, referrals and pending patient education.
  • Workflow: It monitors the location and time in the office of each patient. This area is used by the centers.
  • Delete Open Notes: When selected, allows you to delete open progress notes.  (Note: Once the progress note is removed from this section, it cannot be recovered). 
  • e-Labs: Management of the electronic laboratories. When pressed, the “Electronic Laboratory Result” screen will be displayed.
  • Clinical Report: Screen that allows you to select, filter and print patient clinical information. Among the clinical information included are: referrals, order results, medications, diagnoses, obstetrical information, immunizations, procedures, allergies, vitals and pediatric information. It can also be accessed from the progress note by pressing the “Summary” button, located on the “Side Bar” or by pressing the “Search” button, located on the left side of the screen and selecting the “Summary” option.
  • Past Encounters: Displays the list of past encounters of the selected patient. 
  • New Progress Note: By pressing, a new clinical evaluation will start for the selected patient. 
  • Previous: Closes the screen.


  • Todays Patients:  Displays the list of registered patients who are already in the office (Note: For patients to be displayed in this area it is necessary to mark them as having already arrived at the office).


  • Unattended Patients: If the patient, in the “Todays Patients” section, is identified with the color white, it means that he/she has not yet been attended. 
  • Patients with an open encounter: If the patient, in the “Todays Patients” section, is identified with green color, it means that the progress note is open. 
  • Patients with closed encounters: If the patient, in the “Todays Patients” section, is identified with gray color, it means that the progress note was closed. 


  • Open Progress Notes: Displays the list of patients, with open and incomplete progress notes. (Note: If the patient has more than one open progress note and is clicked twice in this section, the last open note will be displayed. To view all of the patient's open notes, click on the “Past Encounters” button).


  • Template: The template used is displayed in the progress note. 


  • Search: In this area, you can search for any patient registered in EHRez. The user will be able to perform the search through the record number, name or surname.


  • Summary of Patient Information: Click on any patient in the “Todays Patients”, “Open Progress Notes” or “Search” list to see a summary of the selected patient's demographic information.


Options that are displayed by pressing the right mouse button: 


  • Refresh: Allows to update the screen.
  • Restore Layout: If the user has moved the different sections of the screen and wishes to return to the original screen layout, click on this link. 
  • Save Layout: If the user has moved the sections according to his preference and wishes to keep the configured layout, he should press the right mouse button and select the “Save Layout” option. 
  • Update todays appointment encounters: Allows you to update the status of the notes in the “Todays Patients” section. 
  • Check for Open Progress Notes: Allows to check if the selected patient has open progress notes. The user must press the right mouse button and select the “Check for Open Progress Notes” checkbox. The “Past Encounters” screen will be displayed. 
  • Refresh Progress Templates: Allows to update the “Templates” of the progress note.
