There are several options for viewing the sequence of events log of electronic prescriptions for controlled substances. 


Option #1

  • Click on the QuickLinks text, located at the top of the screen. 

  • Select the Settings option.

  • The following screen will be displayed: 


  • Press the General button and then select the EPCS Audit Log button. 


  • The following screen will be displayed:
  • If you wish to view the sequence events of a specific patient, press the Patient Search button, located at the top of the screen.  


  • The following screen will be displayed: 


  • Search for the patient you wish to review. 


  • To select, click on the desired patient.  


  • Or, select the patient and then press the Select button located at the top of the screen. 


  • Automatically, the patient will be displayed.  


  • Press the Events button, located at the top of the screen. Then select the options you want to be displayed.


  • Press the Apply button.


  • Then, press the Search button.


  • Automatically, all the events performed in the selected patient's record will be displayed. 


  • If you only want to display a specific event, click on the Events button, located next to the date fields. 


  • All events will be displayed. The user can select all of them, or select specific events.


  • Once selected, press the Apply button. 


  • Then, press the Search button. 


  • Automatically, all the events of the specific section of the selected patient will be displayed. Or, all events. 


  • The user will be able to print the report of his selection by pressing the print button, located at the top of the screen.


  • Automatically, the report will be displayed to manage the report. 


Option #2
  • Press the Settings button in the main menu.  


  • The following screen will be displayed: 


  • Press then General button and then select the EPCS Audit Log button.  


  • The following screen will be displayed:
  • If you wish to view the sequence events of a specific patient, press the Patient Search button, located at the top of the screen.  


  • The following screen will be displayed:  


  • Search for the patient you wish to review.  


  • To select, click on the desired patient. 


  • Or, select the patient and then press the Select button located at the top of the screen.


  • Automatically, the patient will be displayed. 


  • Click on the Events button, located at the top of the screen. Then, select the options you want to be displayed.


  • Press the Apply button.


  • Then, press the Search button.


  • Automatically, all the events performed in the selected patient's record will be displayed.  


  • If you only want to display a specific event, click on the Events button, located next to the date fields. 


  • All events will be displayed. The user can select all of them or select specific events. 


  • Once selected, press the Apply button. 


  • Then, press the Search button. 


  • Automatically, all the events of the specific section of the selected patient will be displayed. Or, all events.  


  • The user will be able to print the report of his selection by pressing the print button, located at the top of the screen. 


  • Automatically, the report will be displayed to manage the report.
