There are several options for configuring the progress note report templates.
Option #1
- Go to the Billing screen.
- Press the Settings button, located at the top of the screen.
- Select the Staff and Providers option.
- The following screen will be displayed:
- Select the provider for which you wish to configure the progress note report.
- Once selected, press the P.N. Settings button located at the top of the screen.
- The following screen will be displayed:
- Press the New button, located at the top of the screen.
- The Templates field will be enabled, to write the description of the template.
- Then select the provider, to which you will make the configuration.
- Select the Is Default checkbox, if this will be the Template, which will always be used by the provider.
- You will also be able to configure the progress note template, by gender and age.
- Drag the sections you want to include in the Template of the progress note from the Available Items column to the Template Items column.
- Select an Order Set for the template, if applicable. A message will be displayed when opening a progress note with the template containing an Order Set.
- Press the Add button in the Closing Procedures Codes section if you wish to add a procedure code to the Template when closing the progress note.
- The following screen will be displayed:
- Select the procedure code. Once selected, press the Save button located at the top of this screen.
- The code will automatically be displayed in the Encounter Procedures section of the Close Encounter screen.
- Then, proceed to press the Add button, in the Encounter Diagnosis Codes section, if you wish to add a diagnosis code to the Template.
- The following screen will be displayed:
- Select the diagnostic code. Once selected, press the Save button located at the top of this screen.
- The code will automatically be displayed in the Billable Problem List section of the Close Encounter screen.
- Once you have completed the Template configuration, press the Save button, located at the top of the screen.
- The configuration will be automatically saved.
Option #2
- Click on the QuickLinks text, located at the top of the screen.
- Select the Settings option.
- The following screen will be displayed:
- Click on the General button and select the Staff & Providers option.
- The following screen will be displayed:
- Select the provider for which you wish to configure the progress note report.
- Once selected, press the P.N. Settings button located at the top of the screen.
- The following screen will be displayed:
- Press the New button, located at the top of the screen.
- The Templates field will be enabled, to write the description of the template.
- Then select the provider, to which you will make the configuration.
- Select the Is Default checkbox, if this will be the Template, which will always be used by the provider.
- You will also be able to configure the progress note template, by gender and age.
- Drag the sections you want to include in the Template of the progress note from the Available Items column to the Template Items column.
