Description

Screen where the patient's clinical records can be accessed. Additionally, the documents delivered to the patient can be registered. Allows to eliminate open progress notes, either for all or for a specific patient. Electronic laboratory results can be processed. Likewise, clinical reports are managed and the client's past encounters are visualized. 



Access


Through Main Menu 

  • In the main menu, press the Clinical button. 


Sections 


Buttons

  • Encounter Signoff: Screen to be used by Physiatrists, Physical Therapists and Chiropractors. 


  • Disclosures: Displays, or documents, the disclosure of selected patient information.


  • View Orders: Displays the patient's pending prescriptions, lab orders, referrals and educations (Prescriptions, referrals and educations will appear for a period of 30 days from the order date).


  • Delete Open Notes: (Note: Once a progress note is deleted from this section, it cannot be recovered).


  • e-Labs: Management of the e-Labs. When pressed, the Unmatched e-Lab Results screen will be displayed. (Results will only remain, for a period of 90 days, from the date they were received).


  • Clinical Report: Allows you to select, filter and print patient clinical information. Among the clinical information included are: referrals, order results, medications, diagnoses, obstetrics information, immunizations, procedures, allergies, vitals and pediatric information. 


  • Past Encounters: It shows the list of past encounters of the selected patient. In the same way, it is displayed when the Check for open Progress Notes box is selected, by pressing the right mouse button on the Clinical Records screen and double-clicking on the patient.  
  • Previous: Closes screen. 
  • Open Progress Notes: Displays the list of patients with open and incomplete progress notes.

    Note: If you wish to see if the patient has one or more open notes, select the patient and press the Past Encounters button located at the top of the screen or right-click and select the Check for Open Notes option. The Past Encounters screen will automatically display when a patient is selected.


  • Search: It allows the search of any patient registered in EHRez. The user can perform the search through the record number, name or surname.


  • Patient Information Summary: Click on any patient in the Todays Patients, Open Progress Notes or Search list to view summary demographic information for the selected patient.


Options that are displayed with a right mouse click:


  • Refresh: Allows to update the screen.
  • Restore Layout: If the user has moved the different sections of the screen and wishes to return to the original screen layout, click on this link. 
  • Save Layout: If the user has moved the sections according to his preference and wishes to keep the original layout, he should press the right mouse button and select the Save Layout option. 
  • Update todays appointment encounters: Allows you to update the appointment meetings in the Todays Patients section. 
  • Refresh Progress Templates: Allows to update the Templates of the progress note.
