Screen to manage the plan of care at the time of discharge from the emergency room. 


Access


Through “Plan Care”

  • On the progress note screen, press the Plan Care button, located at the top right of the screen.


Sections


Buttons 

  • Print Todays Orders: Allows printing of individual orders at the time of patient discharge from the emergency room. 
  • Previous: Closes screen. (The button will be enabled, once you have saved the document).


Discharge Instructions

In this section, the instructions, which are provided to the patient, at the time of discharge from the emergency room, are added. 


  • Available Documents: The documents displayed in this section are configured in the Office Templates Settings screen by selecting the Is Discharge option. Once the document is selected, press the Apply button. 


  • Complete: When pressed, it displays a message that allows you to complete the document. Once completed, the document cannot be edited.
  • Print: When pressed, it will automatically print the selected document. 
  • Edit: Press to edit the selected document.
  • Save: Pressing it will automatically save the selected document. 
  • Cancel: Pressing displays a confirmation message to cancel the selected document.


Plan of Care 

In this section, the prescriptions, referrals, orders and educations, delivered to the patient, as a care plan, at the time of discharge from the center or emergency room, are displayed.


Orders

  • Medication Prescription: Allows you to create a prescription when the patient is discharged from the center or emergency room. 


  • Referrals: Allows the creation of referrals, at the time of patient discharge from the center or emergency room. 


  • Lab/ X-Ray Orders: Allows the creation of laboratories and studies, at the time of patient discharge from the center or emergency room.


  • Educational Handouts: It allows the creation of educational material, at the moment of the patient's discharge from the center or emergency room. 


  • Plan Care Summary: Display of the summary of the patient's plan of care, upon discharge from the facility or emergency room. 


  • Print: Allows you to print the summary of the patient's care plan.
