Once the provider, as an individual, has completed the identity verification step in the ID.me portal, he/she must continue with the process of verifying the provider's credentials, NPI and DEA numbers.
- The following screen will be displayed:
- Press the Begin button. The following screen will be displayed, to enter your NPI number, status and AED number, then press the Continue button.
- The following screen will be displayed:
- Select the provider type in the Provider Type field. (This field is required.) Then press the Continue button.
- The following screen will be displayed, indicating that your credentials have been verified. Click the Continue button.
- You will also receive an e-mail confirming that your credentials have been verified and you can now access the
- EHRez application to continue with the process of activating the service for sending electronic prescriptions for controlled substances.
Then, the following screen will be displayed:
- Click the Allow button to grant ID.me permission to share your verified identity information.
- The following ID.me confirmation message will be displayed. You can then close the web page.
