Description
Process required to activate the electronic prescription submission process for new EHRez clients, existing EHRez providers whose licenses have reached their expiration date or providers who wish to add a new location to their practice.
Activation Process
Step #1 Confirm legal name
- Click on the Welcome button, located at the top left of the screen.
- Select the Set up e-Prescribing option.
- The following screen will be displayed:
- To continue with the verification process, press the Confirm button to confirm that the name displayed on the screen is your full legal name.
- It will automatically continue to the next step.
Step #2 Confirm your specialty
- The following screen will be displayed.
- Press the Confirm button to confirm your specialty.
- It will automatically continue to the next step.
Step #3 Confirm your medical credentials
- The following screen will be displayed:
- Verify your medical credentialing information.
- When you select the PR status, the Certification Code section will be displayed.
- Go to your certification of registration and medical education, and place the number, located at the bottom of the certificate, in the Certification Code box.

- Once you have completed the information, press the Confirm button to confirm your medical credentials.
- The following message will be displayed:
- Press the Yes button to confirm the certification code.
- Press the No button to return to the screen to make the correction.
- Once you have pressed the Yes button to confirm, you will automatically continue to the next step.
Step #4 Identity verification with ID.me
- The following screen will be displayed:
- If the supplier does not yet have an ID.me account, click on Create a new one. Recommended Article: EPCS ID.me Account Creation Process
- If the provider has at some point started the account creation process or already has an account, on the ID.me portal, click on Complete the verification.
- The following screen will be displayed:
- Press the Sign In button.
- The following screen will be displayed:
- Press the Continue button.
- The following message will be displayed:
- Once you have completed the account creation process in the ID.me portal and account verification, return to the application and click on the Sign in with Id.me button.
- Register your email address and password and then press the Sign In button.
- The following screen will be displayed, press the Continue button.
- Automatically, the following screen will be displayed:
- The credentials will then be reviewed and verified within 5 to 7 days. The supplier will be notified via email once the process is completed. You can always return to the screen to view the status.
- In addition, a notification will be displayed at the top of the screen once you log into the system:
- In the same way, the notification will be displayed on the right side of the screen:
- The following screen will be displayed, indicating that the provider has enabled the service for the transmission of electronic prescriptions. It shows the date on which it was enabled and the date on which the credentials must be renewed.
- It shows the office, where electronic prescriptions have been enabled.
