Before

In order to be able to use the Apply Normal button, you must have previously configured the settings in the maintenance area under Settings / Clinical / Clinical Templates.


Option #1 

  • Go to the Advanced Progress Note screen.
  • Press the Physical Exam button, located in the Side Bar section.


  • Or, press the Search button located at the top left of the screen and select the Physical Exam option.
  • The following screen will be displayed:


Selecting options

  • Select the options on the screen.


  • Once you have completed the physical examination evaluation of the patient, press the Save button.


  • The saved information will be displayed in the Clinical Evaluation section.

         
By selecting a Template, previously configured

  • Select the options on the screen.
  • Then, press the Save As Template button.


  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • Type the name of the Template description.
  • If you want to save this Template for the current provider, select the Save template for current provider only checkbox.


  • If you wish to apply the Template, when the Clinical Evaluation / Physical Exam screen is displayed, select the Apply template on opening option. 


  • If you want the text All system are negative on unless specified to be displayed, select this option.


  • If you wish to apply normal to the physical examination systems, select the Apply Normal option.


  • Select the specialty to which you want to apply the Template. If the Template will not be applied to any specific specialty, you may not select any option. 
  • Select for which type the Template will be applied. For this example: Present Illness, Review of System, Past History and Physical Exam. 


  • Select the type of gender and age you want to apply the Template to.

 

  • After you have selected all the options, press the Ok button.


  • Once the process is completed, press the Select Template button.


  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • Select the Template to be added to the patient's physical examination.
  • Select the Auto Apply checkbox in the Template that you want to be displayed automatically when opening the progress note in the Physical Exam section.


  • Once selected, press the OK button. Or, click twice on the selected Template. 


  • Press the Yes button to add the Template to the patient's physical examination.
  • Press the No button to cancel the action.\Then on the Clinical Evaluation screen, press the Save button.


  • The saved information will be displayed in the Clinical Evaluation section.

         
By selecting a Template, previously configured

  • Select the options on the screen.
  • Then, press the Save As Template button.


  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • Type the name of the Template description.

Option #2

  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • Then, press the Save As Template button. 


  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • Type the name of the Template description.
  • If you want to save this Template for the current provider, select the Save template for current provider only checkbox.


  • If you wish to apply the Template, when the Clinical Evaluation / Physical Exam screen is displayed, select the Apply template on opening option. 


  • If you want the text All system are negative on unless specified to be displayed, select this option.
