Description
The primary function of this panel is to manage the patient list displayed in this section, which includes marking patients as they arrive at the office. Additionally, several activities can be performed, as detailed in the article below.
Sections
This panel allows you to access the following functionalities:
- User Profile Picture: The user's profile picture is displayed, which can be configured in the "Home Settings" screen.
- Office Totals: Upon activation, it presents totals for appointments, unbilled meetings, open notes, and the prior day's meetings.
- User Settings: Pressing it brings up the "Home Settings" screen for user configurations.
- Theme: Section for users to customize and select their preferred background color for the application.
User has 3 color options to select:
- Light: Choosing this option will result in a white screen background.
- Silver: Choosing this option will result in a gray background on the screen.
- Dark: Choosing this option will set the wallpaper to black.
- Windows 11 (Dark): Choosing this option will set the display to a black background in Windows 11.
- Windows 11 (Light): Choosing this option will set the screen to a blank background in Windows 11.
- Accent Colors: A section where users can configure and select their preferred color to be displayed across various sections or screens of the system.
- 1st Color: The color chosen in this field will appear in the "Headers," on the top bar of the screens, on radio buttons, and on notification screens (popups).
- 2nd Color: The chosen color for this field will appear on the bottom bar of the display, indicating the "Last Updated By" section. This applies to sections such as Allergies, Immunizations, Medications, Problem List, Procedures, and Vital Signs.
- 3rd Color: The color chosen in this field will appear in every section selected by the user within the system.
- Modern Main Menu and Classic Main Menu: Enables the user to choose between a Modern or Classic Main Menu as their preferred option.
- Use Quick Progress Note: This option allows users to select it if they wish to use this progress note. However, one must first choose the "Use Quick P.N." option on the "Staff and Providers" screen.
- Tele Medicine URL: Please enter the URL to access the telemedicine program. For a trusted source of information and guidance on telehealth services, you can visit Telehealth.HHS.gov.
Provider Settings: The system displays a list of active providers. Upon selecting a provider via the "Check mark," it shows the patients assigned to that provider in the "Arrivals" section list.
Location Settings: The system will show a list of locations within the office. By selecting a location using the "Check mark", the "Arrivals" section will be filtered accordingly.
Two-Factor Authentication: Section dedicated to configuring two-factor authentication, providing additional security for the user account.
- Exit: Pressing it will prompt the application to close. A confirmation message will then appear:
Arrivals
- This area will display a list of patients who have arrived at the office. Double-tapping on a patient's name will open a new progress note. Patients who have been dispatched from the office will no longer appear on the list. The following icons will be displayed in this section:
- Refresh: Updates the "Arrivals" section.
- Display the list of scheduled patients who have arrived at the office.
- Info: Upon pressing, it exhibits patient information including: record number, age, medical plan, religion, date of last visit, social security number, and any relevant patient notes. (The notes shown here are those entered in the "Patient Detail" screen, not those in the "Appointment Notes" section.)
- Send SMS to Patient: This feature allows for the sending of a text message to the patient upon activation.
- Edit: The display of this icon identifies the progress note is open.
- Close: The display of this icon identifies the progress note has been closed.
- T/A / Appointment Time / Arrived Time: Shows the scheduled appointment time alongside the actual arrival time of the patient at the office.
- Encounter Recovery (link): If the link appears, it indicates that a progress note was opened, clinical information was saved, but it was neither left open nor closed.
Note: To resolve the "Encounter Recovery" issue, click on the provided link and choose the specific encounter.
Note: If the provider fails to save the progress note, they may resume editing it by double-tapping on the patient's option.
