Description
The screen is linked to MedlinePlus Connect, offering straightforward access to patient education information and enabling electronic submission of this information directly to the patient.
Access
Through the Side Bar section: To access the Clinical Support in the Progress Note screen, click the Clinical Support button on the Side Bar. If the Main Clinical Support button is missing, click the Settings button on the Progress Note screen's toolbar. Then, choose the Side Bar Settings option. From the available items on the right, drag and drop the Clinical Support item into the items window at the lower left corner of any Side Bar category. To apply the changes, click the Save button. The Side Bar will refresh, and the Clinical Support button will now be visible under the added category.

Through the Search section: Click on the Search button located on the left side of the screen, then select the Clinical Support button.

Sections
- Search: Enter the search criteria and press the Enter key to initiate the search.
- Search by Diagnosis: Search using a specific diagnosis code.
- Language: Specify preferred language.
- Direct: Direct messaging address.
- Update: Click to save the newly added address directly to the patient's record.
- Attach to Patient Education: Attach the educational material to the patient's record.
- Send Email: Electronically transmitting educational materials via a Patient Portal.
- Add to Educations: Incorporate into the office database of educational materials.
