Description

Screen used to configure and manage order codes and their components, including normal value ranges, flags and LOINC code assignments for any applicable code.


Access

From the Settings module, click on Clinical then select the Orders option.


Sections

  • Buttons
    • Print: Prints the selected code with the corresponding instructions.
    • Range Settings: Add value ranges for warning flags.
    • Edit
    • Cancel
    • Save
    • Previous: Return to the previous screen
  • Filters: Filter search results by Lab, Images, Procedures, DME or All.
  • Search: Enter search criteria.
  • Components: List of components attached to the order code.
  • LOINCs: List of LOINC codes attached to the order code.


Description / Alerts / Instructions: 

  • Change the code description.
  • Classify the code as a Lab, Image, Procedures or DME.
  • Assign the unit type.
  • Attach alert and/or instructions text.
