There are three methods to identify if there are open progress notes.
Option #1 - Through Open Progress Note
- Go to the Clinical Records screen.
- Go to the Open Progress Note section.
- If there are patient records in this section, it means that these progress notes are open.
- Note: To close these progress notes, double-click on each of them and proceed to close them.
Option #2 - Through Past Encounters by Patient
- From the main menu, press the Clinical button.
- On the Clinical Record screen, select or search for the patient (in any of the sections).
- Once selected, press the Past Encounters button, located at the top of the screen.
- : Progress notes identified with this icon mean that the clinical evaluation is incomplete.
- : Progress notes identified with this icon signify that the clinical evaluation was completed.
Note: Double-click on the encounter identified with this icon to close it.
Option #3 - Checking the option Check for open Progress Notes.
- From the main menu, press the Clinical button.
- On the Clinical screen, select or search for the patient. (in any of the three sections).
- Press the right mouse button and select the Check for open Progress Notes option.
- Then double-click on the selected patient in any of the sections.
- Once the Template of the desired progress note is selected, if none is configured as Default, the following screen will be displayed:
