There are several options for creating a clinical alert for a patient.
Option #1
- In the main menu, select the patient to be cited, in the Arrivals section.
- The following screen will be displayed:
- Press the Settings button located at the top of the screen.
- Select the New Alert option in the Patient Alerts section.
- The following screen will be displayed:
- Select the time interval, which you want the patient alert to be displayed.
- Select whether you want the alert to be displayed to a specific provider or group. If you want the alert to be displayed for all users, do not select any of the above options.
- Select whether the alert is administrative or clinical.
- Then, write the patient's alert in the notes field.
- The patient's alert will be displayed.
- Press the Ok button to deactivate the alert.
- Press the Repeat button if you want the alert to be displayed again.
- Press the Send to Reminders button to send the alert to the Reminders section at the top right of the screen.
- Press the Print button to print the alert report.
Option #2
- In the main menu, press the Clinical button.
- The following screen will be displayed:
- Select the patient, for whom you want to create a clinical alert, from any of the sections.
- The following screen will be displayed:
- Press the Settings button located at the top of the screen.
- Select the New Alert option in the Patient Alerts section.
- The following screen will be displayed:
- Select whether the alert is administrative or clinical.
- Then, write the patient's alert in the notes field.
- The patient's alert will be displayed.
- Press the Ok button to deactivate the alert.
- Press the Repeat button if you want the alert to be displayed again.
- Press the Send to Reminders button to send the alert to the Reminders section at the top right of the screen.
- Press the Print button to print the alert report.
