There are several options for accessing the patient's clinical tasks. 


Option #1

  • Go to the Workflow screen. 
  • Click on the Clinical Tasks tab, located on the right side of the screen.


  • The following section will be displayed:


  • Double-click on the patient to display the clinical tasks. 
  •  The following screen will be displayed:


  • Select the tab called Medications.
  • The nurse can change the medication by pressing the Edit Medication button.


  • The following confirmation message will be displayed: 


  • When the Yes button is pressed, the following screen will be displayed: 


  • Type the reason, why you are changing the selected drug.  =
  • Then press the Save button. 
  • The following screen will be displayed to search for the medication to be added (if the user's group has the Clinical File Clinical Task Use Available Medications Only option selected in the Settings / General / Groups screen).


  • If the option is not selected, it will be displayed as follows:


  • Press the Search button to start the search for the drug you wish to add.
  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • Perform the drug search, once selected, press the Save button.
  • If there are interactions with the selected drug, the Interactions screen will be displayed. 
  • Once you have worked with the interactions, the following screen will be displayed:


  • Enter all the corresponding fields. Once you have finished, press the Save button. 
  • Automatically, the list of medications to be administered to the patient will be displayed. 


Option #2

  • Go to the Workflow screen. 
  • Press the More Options button, located at the end of each patient's line. 


  • The following options will be displayed: 


  • Select the View Clinical Tasks option. 


  •  The following screen will be displayed:


  • Select the tab called Medications.
  • The nurse can change the medication by pressing the Edit Medication button.


  • The following confirmation message will be displayed: 


  • When the Yes button is pressed, the following screen will be displayed: 


  • Type the reason, why you are changing the selected drug.  =
  • Then press the Save button. 
  • The following screen will be displayed to search for the medication to be added (if the user's group has the Clinical File Clinical Task Use Available Medications Only option selected in the Settings / General / Groups screen).


  • If the option is not selected, it will be displayed as follows:


  • Press the Search button to start the search for the drug you wish to add.
  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • Perform the drug search, once selected, press the Save button.
  • If there are interactions with the selected drug, the Interactions screen will be displayed.

  • Enter all the corresponding fields. Once you have finished, press the Save button.

Option #3

  • Go to the Workflow screen. 
  • Open the patient's note, which presents assigned pending clinical tasks.
  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • Press the Active Tasks button, located in the Side Bar section.


  • Or, press the Search button, located at the top left of the screen and select the Active Tasks option.
  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • Select the tab called Medications.
  • The nurse can change the medication by pressing the Edit Medication button.


  • The following confirmation message will be displayed: 


  • When the Yes button is pressed, the following screen will be displayed: 


  • Type the reason, why you are changing the selected drug.  =
  • Then press the Save button.
