There are several options to deactivate a diagnosis.


  Option #1

  • Go to the Advanced Progress Note screen.
  • Click on the Problem List link in the Patient Dashboard section.


  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • Select the diagnosis you wish to deactivate and then press the Edit button located at the top of the screen. 


  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • Select the Inactive option in the Status field.


  • Once selected, press the Save button.


  • The selected diagnostic will be automatically displayed in the list of inactive diagnostics in the Problem List screen.


Option #2

  • Go to the Advanced Progress Note screen.
  • Click on the More button, located next to the Problem List link and select the Open Full Page option.


  • Or, press the right mouse button and select the Open Full Page option.


  • In both cases, the following screen will be displayed:


  • Select the diagnosis you wish to deactivate and then press the Edit button located at the top of the screen. 


  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • Select the Inactive option in the Status field.


  • Once selected, press the Save button.


  • The selected diagnostic will be automatically displayed in the list of inactive diagnostics in the Problem List screen.


Option #3

  • Go to the Advanced Progress Note screen.
  • Select the diagnosis, which you want to deactivate in the Problem List section of the Patient Dashboard.


  • Once selected, press the More button, located next to the Problem List link.
  • Then, select the Inactivate Selected Dx option.


  • Likewise, multiple diagnostics can be deactivated simultaneously.


  • The following confirmation message will be displayed:

        

  • Press the Yes button to deactivate the diagnostics.
  • Press the No button to cancel the action.
  • The selected diagnostic(s) will automatically be displayed in the list of inactive diagnostics in the Problem List screen.


Option #4

  • Go to the Advanced Progress Note screen.
  • Click on the Problem List link in the Clinical Evaluation section or click on the Add button in the Clinical Evaluation section. Or click on the Add button in the Clinical Evaluation section (It must be configured in the Progress Notes Templates Settings screen).  


  • In both cases, the following screen will be displayed:


  • Select the diagnosis you wish to deactivate and then press the Edit button located at the top of the screen. 


  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • Select the Inactive option in the Status field.


  • Once selected, press the Save button.


  • The selected diagnostic will be automatically displayed in the list of inactive diagnostics in the Problem List screen.
