Provider has several option to add allergies. 

 

First Option (From the All Items section)

  • Go to the Quick Progress Note screen. 
  • Press the All Items button located in the upper left side of the screen. 


  • The Search screen will be displayed. 
  • Search item or select the Add Allergies button. 

         


  • The following screen will be displayed:

         


Second Option (Pressing the Add Allergies from the top center of screen)

  • Go to the Quick Progress Note screen. 
  • Press the Add Allergies button located at the top center of screen. 


  • The following screen will be displayed: 


  • Press the Add Allergies button. 
  • User can also select the Open Full Page button in order for the Allergies & Adverse Reactions screen to be displayed.


Third Option (Desde la sección de Quick Launch Items)

  • Go to the Quick Progress Note screen. 
  • Press the Add Allergies buttonlocated on the top right of screen. If button is not in the Quick Launch Items section we recommend the following article: FAQ"S: Quick Progress Note / Quick Launch Items 


  • Se desplegará la siguiente pantalla: 

            

  • Select the allergy type: 
  • Medication: To add a medication allergy you must :
    • Press thebutton. 
    • The following screen will be displayed to select the medications allergies.
    • Search for the allergy you want. (User has the option to search the medication allergy by an active ingredient or an specific drug).

           


  • Once the medication allergy is found select with a double click over it.
  • Type: By selecting this option you must write in the field next to the allergy you want to search. Select it from the options displayed. 
  • Substance: To add a substance of allergy follow this instructions:
    • Press thebutton.
    • The following screen will be displayed to select the substance of allergy.

       

 

Note: If screen is displayed like the one shown above you must configure the most use options of office in Settings / Clinical / Frequent Codes. 


  • Search for the substance in the lower part of screen.

 


  • Select with a double click over the substance.
    • Note: Also can select and press the Save button.
  • Uncoded: By selecting this option only must write the the option in field.

                             


  • Fill the other fields like Reactions, Severity, Notes.  
  • Press the Save button to store the allergy.
