Before adding a nurse or provider the mentioned user provider must be created.


After


Option #1

  • Click on the QuickLinks text, located at the top of the screen. 
  • Select the Settings option.

  • The following screen will be displayed:  


  • Click on the General button and select the Staff & Providers option.  


  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • Press the New button, located at the top of the screen.


  • The following screen will be displayed:

     

  • Select the user type: Physician, Non-Physician or Group.
    • Note: Select Group for billing purposes.


  • Select the user, which you want to configure in the Staff/Providers screen. Select the primary and secondary specialty, if any, of the selected provider.  


  • Record the different types of identifications.


  • If you want to copy the credentials of the provider, which is being configured to all offices, press the Copy selected credentials to all offices button. 


  • Select the general options, which you want to add to the provider: 


  • Select the Use Quick PN option, to be able to use the quick progress note. 
  • Select the Accepts assignment option to include the field at the time of billing.
  • Select the Accepts appointment option to display the provider's name as an option to create patient appointments.
  • Select the Accepts new patients in PP option to accept new patient appointments through the new portal. 
  • Select the Accepts Referrals option to indicate which provider accepts referrals. 
  • Select the Has signature on file option to indicate that the provider has his/her signature on file in the system. 
  • Select the option Print Orders with office info, to display the information of the office or center where the provider is attending in progress notes and prescriptions. 
  • Select the option View assigned patients only, to see only the patients assigned to the provider.
  • Select the Has confidential notes access option, so that the provider has access to progress notes identified as confidential. 
  • Select the Use Groups Frequent Codes option, so that the provider can use the frequent codes by group. 
  • Select the Use Progress Note Group Settings option, so that the provider can use the progress note settings by group. 
  • Register the billing options. 


  • Register the credentials of the offices.  


  • Record both provider's addresses.


  • Check if you have the e-Prescription connection.
  • Press the Save button to save the changes.
