Description
Screen for managing patient allergies.
Access
Through the Side Bar section: To access the Main Allergies or Add Allergies, click the corresponding button on the Side Bar within the Progress Note screen. If the Main Allergies button is missing, click the Settings button on the Progress Note toolbar, then choose Side Bar Settings. From the right side, drag and drop the Main Allergies item into a Side Bar category's items window on the lower left. Click Save to apply the changes. The Side Bar will update, showing the button in the selected category.

Through the Patient Dashboard section: To update allergy information, click the 'Allergies' link in the Patient Dashboard, or use the 'More' button to select either 'Add Allergies' or 'Open Full Page' options.

Through the Search section: Click on the Search button located on the left side of the screen, then select either the Main Allergies or Add Allergies option.

Through the Clinical Evaluation section: On the Advanced Progress Note screen, select the 'Allergies' text, or click the 'More' button located within that section.
Sections
Buttons
- Interactions: Check allergies interactions.
- Review: A single-click validation to confirm that all allergies have been reviewed.
- No Allergies: Indicates the patient has no known allergies.
- No Drug Allergies: Indicates the patient has no known drug allergies.
- Add: Add new allergies
- Edit: Edit existing allergy.
- Deactivate: Allows to deactivate an existing allergy.
- Cancel: Allows to cancel any action on the screen.
- Save: Save the changes on screen.
- Previous: Return to previous screen.
Display Grid: "Show Active," "Show Removed," "Show All": These options display allergy entries. Use the filter to switch between viewing Active, Removed, or All allergies.
Detail: Information on allergy entries.
- Adverse Reaction: When selected, it indicates that the patient had an adverse reaction.
- From: Date you are registering the allergy.
- Type of Allergy: (Medication, Type, Substance, Uncoded): Identifies the type of allergy.
- Severity: It allows to register the severity of the allergy (Minor, Moderate, Severe).
- Reactions: It allows recording the reaction that the patient has or had with the allergy.
- Notes: Free text.
Inactivation Details: Identifies the reason for deactivating an allergy.
