Description
This screen is designed for creating medication prescriptions. It allows for the electronic transmission of prescriptions directly to patients via notifications. Additionally, it provides the functionality to print and generate prescription templates.
Access
Through the Side Bar section: Click on the Drug Prescription button on the Side Bar of the Progress Note screen.

Through the Medications screen: Click on the Medication List section's title, which is a hyperlink to the Medication History screen, then click on the New Rx button

Through the Patient Dashboard: Click on the Medication List hyperlink located in the section area on the Advanced Progress Note screen.

Through the Search section: Click on the Search button located on the left side of the screen, then select the Drug Prescription button.

Sections
Buttons
- Offices: Allows to select the offices that is creating the prescription.
- Pharmacy: Opens pharmacy search options.
- Save As: Allows to save the prescription as a template, when selecting the drug(s). Allows you to configure the same, for the provider who is creating it, for the provider group or for all.
- Drug Search+: Pressing this button will display the Search Medication screen, allowing for medication lookup.

- Your SIG's: Upon pressing, a column for configuring frequently used medications will appear on the right side of the screen.
- Frequent Settings: Enables the configuration of groups for frequently used medications.
- Frequent Drugs: Upon pressing, a column for configuring frequently used medications will appear on the right side of the screen.
- Save: Enables the saving of selected medications.
- Cancel: Return to the previous screen.
- Send eRx: Allows to send the electronic prescription.
- Note: To check the status of a prescription, navigate to the Medication History screen, locate the section titled 'Prescription History by Medication', and refer to the Status column.
- Send +Notify: Upon pressing, the prescription will be sent, and the patient will subsequently receive a notification confirming its dispatch.
- Print+Close: Enables printing of the prescription and closing of the screen.
- Save+Close: Stores and close screen.
- Note: The recently saved prescription can be viewed in the following areas:
- On the Advanced Progress Note screen, navigate to the Side Bar section and click the "View Orders" button. Alternatively, click the "Search" button located at the top left of the screen and choose the "View Orders" option.
- On the Clinical Records screen, select the patient and then press the View Orders button.
- On the Appointments screen, select the patient and then press the View Orders button.
- On the Patients screen, select the patient and then press the button located at the top of the screen and select the View Orders option.
- Note: The recently saved prescription can be viewed in the following areas:
- Cancel: Closes screen.
Tabs
- Patient Chart: Clicking on this tab will bring up the Patient Chart screen, where the patient's active allergies are listed. Additionally, users have the option to add medications from the patient's current list and their prescription history.
- Templates: Selecting this tab will display the created medication templates. They can be sorted by users, groups, or all templates.
- Frequent Drugs: This tab displays the user's frequently used medications. Additionally, users can select medications to generate a prescription.
Center Screen Options
- Add ANY Drug/ Dose From Search: Selecting this option will display the Search Medications screen.
- Add with only Clicks from your Favorites: Selecting this option will display the Frequent Drugs tab.
- Add a full medication template: Selecting this option will display the Templates tab.
- Try Different Dose or Brand from History Medications: Selecting this option will display the Patient Chart tab, allowing the selection of a different dose or brand from the patient's medication history.
