There are several options to configure an Order Template. 


Option #1

  • Click on the QuickLinks text, located at the top of the screen. 

  • Select the Settings option.

  • The following screen will be displayed: 


  • Click on the Clinical button and then select the Order Templates option.
  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • Press the Add button, located at the top of the screen. 


  • Type the description, for example Routine Labs and in case the Template will be used by only one provider, select the provider in the Provider box. (In this example, as we want all providers to see the template, we will not select any provider).


  • Select the age and gender of the Order Template you wish to configure. 


  • To add orders, click on the Add button, located next to the provider field.  


  • The following screen will be displayed:

         

  • Find the laboratory(ies), which you want to add to this Order Template. Then, select the box located on the right side of the laboratory and press the Save button. Or, double click on the selected order. 

                 Note: In the Order Template Details screen, you can also select a diagnosis and write a note.

  • To add another order to the Template, press the first Add button again, until you include all the tests you wish to obtain.
  • If you want to add a diagnosis, related to the selected order, press the Edit button, located on the right side of the order.


  • The following screen will be displayed: 


  • Press the Add button, located at the end of the Dx1 and Dx2 field. 


  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • Search for the diagnosis related to the selected order. These can be filtered by ICD-10 or SNOMED code.
  • Once selected, press the Save button.


  • Once all the tests are included in the Template, press the Save button.


  • All the orders added in the Order Template created will be displayed. 


Option #2

  • Press the Settings button in the main menu. 


  • The following screen will be displayed: 


  • Click on the Clinical button and then select the Order Templates option.
  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • Press the Add button, located at the top of the screen. 


  • Type the description, for example Routine Labs and in case the Template will be used by only one provider, select the provider in the Provider box. (In this example, as we want all providers to see the template, we will not select any provider).


  • Select the age and gender of the Order Template you wish to configure. 


  • To add orders, click on the Add button, located next to the provider field.  


  • The following screen will be displayed:
