There are several options to create a prescription. 


Option #1

  • Go to the Advanced Progress Note screen.
  • Click on the Medication List link in the Patient Dashboard section. 


  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • Press the New Rx button, located at the top of the screen. 


  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • Press the Drug Search + button, located at the top of the screen. Also, you can press the Add ANY Drug/Dose From Search button, located in the center of the screen.  
  • In both options, the following screen will be displayed:


  • Search and select the medication(s) you wish to include in the prescription.
  • Press the Save button once you have completed adding the medication(s) to the prescripti


  • If the Check Interactions checkbox is selected, the Medication Interactions screen will be displayed.
  • Then, the screen with the created prescription will be displayed.


  • Press the Pharmacies button, located at the top of the screen.


  • The pharmacy section will be displayed for the selection of the pharmacy. 
  • If the provider has pharmacies registered as favorites, they will be displayed when selecting the Your Favorites option.


  • If the patient has pharmacies registered as favorites, they will be displayed when selecting the Patient Favorites option.


  • To register a pharmacy as a favorite near the patient's city, select the Near Patient City option. The pharmacy(ies) can be registered as patient favorites and/or provider favorites. 


  • To register a pharmacy as a favorite near the provider's office city, select the Near Office City option. The pharmacy(ies) can be registered as patient favorites and/or provider favorites. 


  • To search for pharmacies in general, select the Search option. The pharmacy(ies) can be registered as patient favorites and/or provider favorites.


  • Select the pharmacy and press the Select button. 


  • The created prescription will be displayed: 
  • Once you have selected the pharmacy to which you will send the prescription, the Send eRx button will be enabled.
  • Then press the Send eRx button to send the electronic prescription to the pharmacy.
  • If you wish to send the prescription to the pharmacy and notify the patient via text message, press the Send + Notify button. 


  • Automatically, the prescription will be sent to the pharmacy and the patient will be notified via text message.
  • Press the Print+Close button if you want to print the prescription and close the screen.


  • Press the Save+Close button to save the recipe and close the screen. 


Option #2

  • Go to the Advanced Progress Note screen.
  • Press the More button, located in the Medication List section of the “Patient Dashboard” and select the Open Full Page option.


  • Or, press the right mouse button and select the Open Full Page option.


  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • Press the New Rx button, located at the top of the screen. 


  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • Press the Drug Search + button, located at the top of the screen. Also, you can press the Add ANY Drug/Dose From Search button, located in the center of the screen.  
  • In both options, the following screen will be displayed:


  • Search and select the medication(s) you wish to include in the prescription.
  • Press the Save button once you have completed adding the medication(s) to the prescripti


  • If the Check Interactions checkbox is selected, the Medication Interactions screen will be displayed.
  • Then, the screen with the created prescription will be displayed.


  • Press the Pharmacies button, located at the top of the screen.


  • The pharmacy section will be displayed for the selection of the pharmacy. 
  • If the provider has pharmacies registered as favorites, they will be displayed when selecting the Your Favorites option.


  • If the patient has pharmacies registered as favorites, they will be displayed when selecting the Patient Favorites option.


  • To register a pharmacy as a favorite near the patient's city, select the Near Patient City option. The pharmacy(ies) can be registered as patient favorites and/or provider favorites. 


  • To register a pharmacy as a favorite near the provider's office city, select the Near Office City option. The pharmacy(ies) can be registered as patient favorites and/or provider favorites. 


  • To search for pharmacies in general, select the Search option. The pharmacy(ies) can be registered as patient favorites and/or provider favorites.


  • Select the pharmacy and press the Select button. 


  • The created prescription will be displayed: 
  • Once you have selected the pharmacy to which you will send the prescription, the Send eRx button will be enabled.
  • Then press the Send eRx button to send the electronic prescription to the pharmacy.
  • If you wish to send the prescription to the pharmacy and notify the patient via text message, press the Send + Notify button. 


  • Automatically, the prescription will be sent to the pharmacy and the patient will be notified via text message.
  • Press the Print+Close button if you want to print the prescription and close the screen.


  • Press the Save+Close button to save the recipe and close the screen. 


Option #3

  • Go to the Advanced Progress Note screen.
  • Press the Drug Prescription button, located in the Side Bar section.


  • Or, click on the Search button located at the top left of the screen and select the Drug Prescription option.
  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • Press the Drug Search + button, located at the top of the screen. Also, you can press the Add ANY Drug/Dose From Search button, located in the center of the screen.  
  • In both options, the following screen will be displayed:


  • Search and select the medication(s) you wish to include in the prescription.
  • Press the Save button once you have completed adding the medication(s) to the prescripti


  • If the Check Interactions checkbox is selected, the Medication Interactions screen will be displayed.
  • Then, the screen with the created prescription will be displayed.


  • Press the Pharmacies button, located at the top of the screen.


  • The pharmacy section will be displayed for the selection of the pharmacy.

Option #4

  • Go to the Advanced Progress Note screen.
  • Press the Medication History button, located in the Side Bar section.


  • Or, click on the Search button, located at the top left of the screen and select the Medication History option.
  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • Press the New Rx button, located at the top of the screen.


  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • Press the Drug Search + button, located at the top of the screen. Also, you can press the Add ANY Drug/Dose From Search button, located in the center of the screen.  
  • In both options, the following screen will be displayed:


  • Search and select the medication(s) you wish to include in the prescription.
  • Press the Save button once you have completed adding the medication(s) to the prescripti


  • If the Check Interactions checkbox is selected, the Medication Interactions screen will be displayed.
  • Then, the screen with the created prescription will be displayed.


  • Press the Pharmacies button, located at the top of the screen.

  • Automatically, the prescription will be sent to the pharmacy and the patient will be notified via text message.
  • Press the Print+Close button if you want to print the prescription and close the screen.


  • Press the Save+Close button to save the recipe and close the screen. 

Option #5

  • Go to the Advanced Progress Note screen.
  • Press the More button, located in the Medication List section of the Patient Dashboard and select the New Prescription option.


  • Or, press the right mouse button and select the New Prescription option.


  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • Press the Drug Search + button, located at the top of the screen. Also, you can press the Add ANY Drug/Dose From Search button, located in the center of the screen.  
  • In both options, the following screen will be displayed:


  • Search and select the medication(s) you wish to include in the prescription.
  • Press the Save button once you have completed adding the medication(s) to the prescripti


  • If the Check Interactions checkbox is selected, the Medication Interactions screen will be displayed.
  • Then, the screen with the created prescription will be displayed.
