There are several options to deactivate a patient's record.


Option #1   

  • Select 'Patients' button, which is located in the main menu. 


  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • Select the patient to whom you wish to deactivate the record. 
  • Once selected, press the “More” button, located at the top of the screen.
  • Choose the "Deactivate" option.


  • The following screen will be displayed: 
  • Select one of the available options by pressing the “Dropdown” button.


  • If you select the “Other” option, the section will be displayed for you to manually enter another reason to deactivate the record. 
  • If the reason is not available, click the "Edit" button, located next to the field, where the reason is displayed.
  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • Press the “Add” button to add the reason of your choice. 
  • Once added, press the “Save” button to save the record. 
  • If you wish to view any inactive patient records, press the “Search” button on the “Patients Details” screen.


  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • Select the “Include inactive patients records” checkbox to display inactive patient records.


Option #2

  • Click on the “QuickLinks” text, located at the top of the main menu.
  • Choose the Patients option.


  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • Select the patient to whom you wish to deactivate the record. 
  • Once selected, press the “More” button, located at the top of the screen.
  • Choose the "Deactivate" option.


  • The following screen will be displayed: 
  • Select one of the available options by pressing the “Dropdown” button.


  • If you select the “Other” option, the section will be displayed for you to manually enter another reason to deactivate the record. 
  • If the reason is not available, click the "Edit" button, located next to the field, where the reason is displayed.
  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • Press the “Add” button to add the reason of your choice. 
  • Once added, press the “Save” button to save the record. 
  • If you wish to view any inactive patient records, press the “Search” button on the “Patients Details” screen.


  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • Select the “Include inactive patients records” checkbox to display inactive patient records.


Option #3

  • Navigate to the "Appointments" screen.
  • Choose a patient from the calendar.


  • Once selected, the user has two options to deactivate the record. Press the “Patient Details” button, located on the right side of the screen.


  • Or press the information button and select the “Pt Details” option.


  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • Select the patient to whom you wish to deactivate the record. 
  • Once selected, press the “More” button, located at the top of the screen.
  • Choose the "Deactivate" option.


  • The following screen will be displayed: 
  • Select one of the available options by pressing the “Dropdown” button.


  • If you select the “Other” option, the section will be displayed for you to manually enter another reason to deactivate the record.
