Description

A screen is utilized to document the executed procedures.



Access 

  • Through the Side Bar section: To access the Procedures button, click on it in the Side Bar on the Progress Note screen. If the Procedures button is missing, click the Settings button on the Progress Note screen's toolbar. Then, choose the Side Bar Settings option. From the right side of the screen, drag and drop the Procedures item into the items window on the lower left corner under any Side Bar category. Finally, click the Save button to apply the changes. The Side Bar will update, and the Procedures button will now be visible under the chosen category.
  • Through the Search section: Click on the Search button located on the left side of the screen, then select the Procedures button.
  • Through the Clinical Evaluation section: In the Advanced Progress Note screen, click on the Procedures text. Or click on the Add button, located in that section.

Sections


Buttons

  • Order Sets: It allows to manage the Order Sets, through procedures. 
  • Print: Print the selected procedure.
  • Add: Add a procedure. 


Note: If the user adding a procedure is in the "Nurses" group, a provider selection screen will display to select the provider that will perform the procedure. Also, if a template is attached to the procedure, the template will be displayed on the viewer on the right side of the screen.


  • Edit: It will allow you to edit the selected procedure.
  • Deactivate: It will allow you to deactivate the selected procedure.
  • Cancel: Cancels any changes made on screen.
  • Save: Saves changes made on the screen.
  • Previous: Close screen. 


GridPlace where all the procedures performed on the patient will be displayed.


  • From: Date procedure was performed.
  • To: Date the procedure ended.
  • Facility: Place where the procedure was performed.
  • Load Template: Here a template, previously configured, will be written or brought in on the entered procedure.
  • Edit Template: Allows to edit the selected template.
  • Change CPT Code: Allows to change the CPT code.
  • Procedure Note: Field to enter the procedure note.
  • Template Text: Field where the text or template of the procedure is displayed.


  • Load Template: Load a procedure template to document the process, if one has been created.
  • Edit Template: To edit the selected template, please note that the edit will only apply to the specific instance where it is used. For permanent changes, edits must be made in the Settings module.
  • Change CPT Code: Allows to edit the selected template.
  • Procedures Grid: Displays stored procedures.
