Description
The screen is designed to configure conditions for quick access by the provider, allowing them to document these as 'Ruled Out' based on their evaluation of the patient in the progress note.
Configuration
In order to display the selections made in Rule Outs screen in the Plan of the progress note, the rule out keyword must be added to the Plan section of the Assessment & Plan Settings configuration.

Access
- Through the Side Bar section: To locate the Rule Outs button on the Progress Note screen's Side Bar, click on it. If the Rule Outs button is missing, click the Settings button on the Progress Note screen's toolbar, then choose the Side Bar Settings. Next, drag and drop the Rule Outs option from the right side's available items area into the lower left corner's items window of any Side Bar category. Click the Save button to apply the changes. The Side Bar will update, and the Rule Outs button will now be visible under the added category.

- Through the Search section: Click on the Search button located on the left side of the screen, then select the Rule Outs option.

- Edit: It will allow you to add more options for the selection.
- Save: Save changes on screen.
- Close: Closes the screen.
- Table Grid: Displays the conditions configured to be selected as Rule Out options.
