Description
Screen for confirmation of appointments through text messages. (Note: This service has an additional cost. For more information, please contact our service department at 787-625-0440.)
Access
Through Main Menu
- In the main menu, press the "Send SMS to patient" button located in the "Arrivals" section.
Through Appointments
- In the main menu, press the "Appointments" option.
- Press the "Send SMS to patient" button, located next to the name of the cited patient.
- Press the information button located next to the cited patient's name. Then press the "Send SMS" button.
- Or, press the right mouse button and select the option "Send SMS to patient."
Through Clinical Records
- On the "Clinical Records" screen, press the "Send SMS to patient" button, located next to the patient in the "Arrivals" section.
**Note: If a patient responds to your text message with the word "Stop", they will automatically unsubscribe from text messages from the office. In order for the office to send a message to the patient again without displaying "(xxx) xxx-xxxx is unsubscribed", the patient must send the word "Start" through a text message to continue with the service. (This action can only be performed by the patient; neither E-Health Partners nor the offices will be able to work with this situation.) Text Messages Settings
The configuration of text messages is done on the "Appointments Settings" screen. Press the "SMS Settings" button located at the top of the screen.
Settings Screen
The office or center can set up a message in general on this screen. You have the option to include the "Keywords" located at the bottom of the page.
SMS Templates
Screen where custom text messages are configured. (The "Templates" are configured on the "Appointments Settings" screen by pressing the arrow on the "SMS Settings" button located at the top of the screen and selecting the "SMS Templates" option.)
If you want the message to be in Spanish, you must have selected the "Speak Spanish" box on the "Appointments Details" screen. If the patient does not have this box selected, the message will be received in English.
The staff of the office or facility will be able to send a personalized message to the selected patient. A log of the sending of text messages will be kept on the "Lookup" screen when pressing "View Log".
