There are several options to deactivate a clinical alert.
Option #1
Click on the QuickLinks text, located at the top of the screen.
Select the Settings option.
- The following screen will be displayed:
- Click on the Clinical button and then select the Clinical Decision Support option.
- The following screen will be displayed:
- If there are any open progress notes for any patient, the screen will be displayed, with the name of the patient Example:
- The following screen will be displayed:
- Select the clinical alert you wish to deactivate. Once selected, press the Deactivate button located at the top of the screen.
- The following confirmation message will be displayed:
- Press the Yes button to deactivate the clinical alert.
- Press the No button to cancel the action.
- Automatically, it will be displayed in the Inactive section.
Option #2
- Press the Settings button in the main menu.
- The following screen will be displayed:
- Click on the Clinical button and then select the Clinical Decision Support option.
- The following screen will be displayed:
- If there are any open progress notes for any patient, the screen will be displayed, with the name of the patient Example:
- The following screen will be displayed:
- Select the clinical alert you wish to deactivate. Once selected, press the Deactivate button located at the top of the screen.
- The following confirmation message will be displayed:
- Press the Yes button to deactivate the clinical alert.
- Press the No button to cancel the action.
- Automatically, it will be displayed in the Inactive section.
Option #3
- Click on the QuickLinks text located at the top of the screen and select the Settings Clinical Decision Support option.
- The following screen will be displayed:
- If there are any open progress notes for any patient, the screen will be displayed, with the name of the patient Example:

- Select the clinical alert you wish to deactivate. Once selected, press the Deactivate button located at the top of the screen.
- The following confirmation message will be displayed:
- Press the Yes button to deactivate the clinical alert.
- Press the No button to cancel the action.
- Automatically, it will be displayed in the Inactive section.
