There are several options for recording the absence of menstrual periods.


Option #1

  • Go to the Advanced Progress Note screen. 
  • Click on the Menstrual History link in the Patient Dashboard section.


  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • Press the Add button, located on the right side of the screen.


  • The following screen will be displayed: 


  • Select the No Menstrual Period checkbox.


  • Select the date, since when you have not had your menstrual period. Once selected, the Last Menstrual Period Date will automatically change. 


  • Select the reason, why you are not having your period.


  • If the reason you want to add is not in the list, press the pencil icon located right next to the field. 


  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • Press the Add button, located at the top of the screen.


  • A line will be enabled to register the desired reason. 


  • If you want the reason created to be the Default reason displayed each time you select that a patient does not have a menstrual period, select the Default Value field located at the top of the screen. 


  • Press the Save button.


  • Automatically, the reason will be displayed. 


  • Write a note, in relation to the record.


  • Then, press the Save button to save the record.


Option #2

  • Go to the Advanced Progress Note screen. 
  • Press the Add button, located in the Menstrual History section of the Patient Dashboard.


  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • Press the Add button, located on the right side of the screen.


  • The following screen will be displayed: 


  • Select the No Menstrual Period checkbox.


  • Select the date, since when you have not had your menstrual period. Once selected, the Last Menstrual Period Date will automatically change. 


  • Select the reason, why you are not having your period.


  • If the reason you want to add is not in the list, press the pencil icon located right next to the field. 


  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • Press the Add button, located at the top of the screen.


  • A line will be enabled to register the desired reason.


  • If you want the reason created to be the Default reason displayed each time you select that a patient does not have a menstrual period, select the Default Value field located at the top of the screen. 


  • Press the Save button.


  • Automatically, the reason will be displayed. 


  • Write a note regarding the record. 


  • Then, press the Save button to save the record.


Option #3

  • Go to the Advanced Progress Note screen. 
  • Press the Menstrual History button, located in the Side Bar section.


  • Or, press the Search button located at the top left of the screen and select the Menstrual History option.
  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • Press the Add button, located on the right side of the screen.


  • The following screen will be displayed: 


  • Select the No Menstrual Period checkbox.


  • Select the date, since when you have not had your menstrual period. Once selected, the Last Menstrual Period Date will automatically change. 


  • Select the reason, why you are not having your period.


  • If the reason you want to add is not in the list, press the pencil icon located right next to the field. 


  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • Press the Add button, located at the top of the screen.

Option #4

  • Go to the Advanced Progress Note screen. 

  • Click on the More button located next to the OB Summary link in the Patient Dashboard section. 

  • Select the Menstrual History option. 

  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • Press the Add button, located on the right side of the screen.


  • The following screen will be displayed: 


  • Select the No Menstrual Period checkbox.


  • Select the date, since when you have not had your menstrual period. Once selected, the Last Menstrual Period Date will automatically change. 


  • Select the reason, why you are not having your period.


  • If the reason you want to add is not in the list, press the pencil icon located right next to the field.
