Provider has several options to add allergies.


Fastest Option

  • Go to the Advanced Progress Note screen. 
  • Press the button located next to to the title of the Allergies section and select the Add Allergies option.

           


  • The following screen will be displayed:

                


  • Select the allergy type: 
    • Medication: To add a medication allergy you must :
    • Press the   button. 
    • The following screen will be displayed to select the medications allergies.
    • Search for the allergy you want. (User has the option to search the medication allergy by an active ingredient or an specific drug).



    • Once the medication allergy is found select with a double click over it.
    • Type:  By selecting this option you must write in the field next to the allergy you want to search. Select it from the options displayed. 
    • Substance: To add a substance of allergy follow this instructions:
    • Press thebutton.
    • The following screen will be displayed to select the substance of allergy.


    Note: If screen is displayed like the one shown above you must configure the most use options of office in Settings / Clinical / Frequent Codes. 

    • Search for the substance in the lower part of screen.



    • Select with a double click over the substance.
      • Note: Also can select and press the Save button.
    • Uncoded: By selecting this option only must write the the option in field.

                                  

    • Fill the other fields like Reactions, Severity, Notes.
    • Press the Save button to store the allergy.
