Note:

In order to perform this functionality, it is required that the patient has an account, in the patient portal.


  • Go to the Advanced Progress Note screen.
  • Press the Clinical Support button, located in the Side Bar section.


  • Or, click on the Search button located at the top left of the screen and select the Clinical Support option.
  • The following screen will be displayed:

  • Select the article, which you want to send to the patient portal. Either via text search or via ICD10 code search. 


  • When the item is displayed, enter the patient's portal address in the Patient Address section. 


  • Once the patient's portal address is registered, press the Send Email button located at the top of the screen.


  • Automatically, the education will be sent to the patient's portal.
