In order to send an electronic E-Lab order all you need is a configuration in system and the rest will be clear to provider. 

 

Configuration

Provider must call to the EREez offices at 787-625-0440 to use the E-Labs.


Steps over e-labs


Step 1: Patient visits provider.

Step 2: Provider creates the order in EHRez (If the e-labs service is on it will be transmitted to "misResultados").

  • Provider prepares and prints the order

      Step 3: Provider prints the order in EHRez.

      • Provider must verify that the following message is displayed in the order to be printed **ELECTRONIC ORDER**. 
      • This is a indicative that order was correctly sent to "misResultados".
    • Step 4: Patients visits Laboratory.**
      Step 5: Lab searches for order in "misResultados" , analizes and sends the results of the blood samples to "misResultados".
      Step 6:Provider receives in EHRez the results from "misResultados".

      • Provider that was configured in Settings / General / General / e-labs in the Notifications Users field will receive a notification from the Message screen that there are labs results from patients. Message will show the patients name.
      • It is recommended that provider goes to the e-labs screen located in the Modern Main Menu or in the Clinical Record / E-labs screen.
      • When patient returns to the office in his next appointment and provider opens the Orders screen  the electronic sent results will appear automatically in the Patient Results chartThe results will have two asterisks in front of the test name.





  • If all expected orders are received they will pass from Pending to Completed automatically.
    • Important Note: If order that must have automatically changed to Completed is in Pending, provider must go to Clinical Record / e-labs  and manually match the order in addition have to change the order to Completed. this is by pressing the View History link in the Orders screen.
