ALERT
In order to use this option patient must have a Direct account.
- In the Advanced Progress Note, screen in the Side Bar area press the Clinical Record button.
- When Clinical Support screen is opened verify the Direct field in the Patient Address area.

Patient HAS a Direct acoount.
- Search for the article to be sent.
- Press the Send Email button when you are in the screen to send the information to the patients portal.

Patient DOES NOT have a Direct account.
