Provider has several options to add a patients diagnosis:
Option # 1: Fastest option
- Press the
button and select the Add Problem List option in the Problem List screen.
- The Multiple Code Selection screen will be displayed.
- Select a diagnosis and press the Save button.
- Note: It is recommended that provider configures the frequent codes for them to be shown in the Multiple Code Selection screen. Provider must configure in Settings / Clinical / Frequent Codes.
- The following message will be displayed: Do you want to add the selected diagnostics to the billing claim?
- Press Yes if you want the selected diagnosis to be added to claim or press No to not be added.
Option # 2: Detailed option
Option recommended to upload the measures of Meaningful Uses.
- In the Advanced Progress Note screen press the Problem List located in the sections areas.
- The Problem List screen will be displayed.
- Press the Add button.
- The Multiple Code Selection screen will be displayed.
- Select with a check mark the diagnosis. The selected diagnosis will be shown at the bottom of the screen.
- Press Save in screen.
- The following message will be displayed: Do you want to add the selected diagnostics to the billing claim?
- Press Yes to add the selected code in claim or press No to not be added.
- The diagnosis will be saved when returning to the Problem List screen.
