There are several options to configure a Clinical Symptom Template.
Option #1
Click on the QuickLinks text, located at the top of the screen.
Select the Settings option.

- The following screen will be displayed:

- Click on the Clinical button and then select the Clinical Symptoms Templates option.

- The following screen will be displayed:

- Press the Add button, located at the top of the screen.

- Type the name of the template in the Symptom Template Name field.

- In the first table, click the right mouse button and select the Add Item option.

- The Option Editor screen will be displayed:
- Enter the name of the option.

- Select the Apply Normal option. Select only, if the option being added will belong to the physical exam options and applies to Apply Normal.
Note: Any option saved as Apply Normal, when pressing the Apply Normal button in the Advanced Progress Note / Clinical Evaluation screen, will be automatically selected. This only applies to the Physical Exam tab.
- Press the Save button.
- Continue adding as many options as you wish, using the same methodology, mentioned above.
- To add a sub-category, select the options in the first table and select the Add Child option.

- The Option Editor screen will be displayed.

- Add the option and press the Save button.

- Continue adding the options you need.
- All options can be saved in the three available columns.
Final Result

- Press the Settings button in the main menu.

- The following screen will be displayed:

- Click on the Clinical button and then select the Clinical Symptoms Templates option.
