There are several options for adding a vaccine.


Option #1

  • Go to the Advanced Progress Note screen. 
  • Click on the Immunizations link, located in the Patient Dashboard section.


  • You can also click on the More button and select the Open Full Page option.


  • Or, press the Open Full Page button. 


  • In both cases, the following screen will be displayed: 


  • Press the Add button, located at the top of the screen. 


  • The following screen will be displayed:

        

  • Select the vaccine from the Vaccine Selection section. Either from the common pediatric vaccines, adult vaccines, from the office inventory or from the vaccine group listing. 

    

  • Once selected, the CPT code and description of the vaccine will be displayed in the Detail column. 
  • Enter the dose information, unit, date of administration, among others. 


  • Once you have completed entering the information, press the Save button to save the changes.


  • The user will be able to register the vaccine, through the links, according to the required vaccines.


  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • Select the vaccine from the selected category group from the Vaccine Selection column.


  • Once selected, the CPT code and vaccine description will be displayed in the Detail column. 


  • Record information on dosage, unit, date of administration, among others. 


  • Once you have completed entering the information, press the Save button to save the changes.


Option #2

  • Go to the Advanced Progress Note screen. 
  • Click on the More button, located in the Immunizations section of the Patient Dashboard. 
  • Select the Add Immunization option. 


  • Or, press the right mouse button and select the Add Immunizations option. 


  • The following screen will be displayed:

        

  • Select the vaccine from the Vaccine Selection section. Either from the common pediatric vaccines, adult vaccines, from the office inventory or from the vaccine group listing. 

    

  • Once selected, the CPT code and description of the vaccine will be displayed in the Detail column. 
  • Enter the dose information, unit, date of administration, among others. 


  • Once you have completed entering the information, press the Save button to save the changes.


  • The user will be able to register the vaccine, through the links, according to the required vaccines.


  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • Select the vaccine from the selected category group from the Vaccine Selection column.

  • Or, click on the Search button, located at the top left of the screen and select the Immunizations option.
  • In both cases, the following screen will be displayed: 


  • Press the Add button, located at the top of the screen. 


  • The following screen will be displayed:

        

  • Select the vaccine from the Vaccine Selection section. Either from the common pediatric vaccines, adult vaccines, from the office inventory or from the vaccine group listing. 

    

  • Once selected, the CPT code and description of the vaccine will be displayed in the Detail column. 
  • Enter the dose information, unit, date of administration, among others


  • Once you have completed entering the information, press the Save button to save the changes.
