Description

This feature represents a collaboration between E-Health Partners, Inc. and MisResultados, Inc. Clinical laboratory orders generated in EHRez (when activated) will be transmitted electronically, and the lab results will be automatically populated into the patient's record.

How does it work?

Once configured and activated in our e-Labs network, the process is as follows:

  • Step 1: A physician creates a Lab Order for the patient.
  • Step 2: After the order is entered into the patient record, an electronic file in HL7 format is uploaded to the MisResultados, Inc. cloud database.
  • Step 3: The order needs to be printed and given to the patient.
  • Step 4: Patients visit a clinical lab of their choice.
  • Step 5: The clinical laboratory retrieves the order from MisResultados, conducts the requested tests, and then uploads the results to the cloud database.
  • Step 6:Once the results become available, they are automatically linked to the order initiated by the provider. These results are then associated with the patient's record, and the provider is notified of the available electronic results.


Electronic laboratory results are shown in the Patient Results section of the Orders screen. Double asterisks "**" adjacent to the order indicate that the results have been received electronically.
