How to record that a patient does NOT smoke?

Go to the Advanced Progress Note screen.
Click on the Smoking Status button located in the Side Bar section. Or click on theSearch button located at the upper left side of screen and then select the Smoking Status option.

The following screen will be displayed:

Select the Never Smoker option.

Click on the Save button.

The record will be automatically saved.
