- Go to the Advanced Progress Note screen.
- Press the Patient Notes button, located in the Side Bar section.
- Or, click on the Search button located at the top left of the screen and select the Patient Notes option.
- The following screen will be displayed:
- Press the Add button, located at the top of the screen.
- The Note Details section will be enabled to record documents and information from the patient's clinical history.
- Type the title of the patient note.
- If you are adding a template to the patient note, press the Add button, located in the Title section.
- The following screen will be displayed:
- Select the Template you wish to add.
- Once selected, press the Select button, located at the top of the screen.
- The following screen will be displayed:
- Press the Replace keywords and close button.
- If you are not using a template, type the title of the patient note in the Title field.
- Then select the Confidential For checkbox if the patient's note will be viewed by a specific group.
- Then select the options you want to add to the note, in the Append section.
- Once you have completed entering the information, press the Save button located at the top of the screen.
- The patient's note will be automatically saved.
