• Go to the Advanced Progress Note screen.
  • Press the Patient Notes button, located in the Side Bar section.


  • Or, click on the Search button located at the top left of the screen and select the Patient Notes option.
  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • Press the Add button, located at the top of the screen.


  • The Note Details section will be enabled to record documents and information from the patient's clinical history.


  • Type the title of the patient note.
  • If you are adding a template to the patient note, press the Add button, located in the Title section.


  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • Select the Template you wish to add.
  • Once selected, press the Select button, located at the top of the screen.


  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • Press the Replace keywords and close button.


  • If you are not using a template, type the title of the patient note in the Title field.


  • Then select the Confidential For checkbox if the patient's note will be viewed by a specific group. 


  • Then select the options you want to add to the note, in the Append section.


  • Once you have completed entering the information, press the Save button located at the top of the screen.


  • The patient's note will be automatically saved.
