Description
Record the prenatal visit details for the ongoing pregnancy.
Access
- Through the Side Bar section: To access the Pregnancy in the Progress Note screen, click on the Pregnancy button located on the Side Bar. If the Pregnancy button is not visible, click on the Settings button on the Progress Note toolbar. Choose the Side Bar Settings option. Then, drag and drop the Pregnancy item from the right side of the screen into the items window on the lower left corner of any Side Bar category. Click the Save button to apply the changes. The Side Bar will update, and the Pregnancy button will be displayed under the chosen category. Then click on the Add or Edit button in screen.

- Through the Search section: Click on the Search button located on the left side of the screen, then select the Pregnancy button. Then click on the Add or Edit button in screen.

- Through the Patient Dashboard section: In the Patient Dashboard section, click on the OB Summary link, located in the Clinical Evaluation section. Or click on the More button and then select the Open Full Page. Then click on the Add or Edit button in screen.

Buttons
- Save: Save changes to the screen.
- Cancel: Save changes to the screen.
Screen Details
- Type (Prenatal, Postpartum, Other): Select the type of visit. The main type would be Prenatal, but there are also three other options: Other and Postpartum.
- Date: Date of visit.
- Weeks Gestation: Weeks that the patient has on the day of the visit (This field is automatically displayed).
- Funda Height: Size of patient's uterus at this visit.
- Symptoms: [Y/N]: It allows recording if the patient has any type of symptom.
- Pain Scale: Allows pain to be recorded on a scale.
- Next Appointment: Allows you to select the date of the next appointment.
- Cervical Exam: Field for recording cervical examination data: "Dilation," "Effacement."
- Blood Pressure: The patient's blood pressure was recorded during the visit.
- Weight: Next to this field, the patient's weight before pregnancy is shown.
- Urine: Results of the urine test from that visit include Protein, Albumin, Glucose, and Blood.
- Edema: (None, Grade 1, Grade 2, Grade 3)
- Appointment Description: Note related to the appointment.
- Babies Information: This section records information about babies, which is delivered from the "Pregnancy Types" section.
- Has Fetal Movement [Y/N]: Allows to record whether the fetus has movement by that date.
- FHR: “Fetal Heart Rate”, allows recording of the fetal heartbeat.
- Presentation: (Vertex, Breech Complete, Breech Incomplete, Transverse, Variable, Other)
- Tags: Displays the categories common phrases previously configured in: Evaluation Tags Settings.
- Phrases: Displays the phrases for clinical evaluation previously configured in: Settings / Phrases Setting.
- Notes: Notes related to the prenatal visit.
