Numerator

Prescriptions / medications order performed; few were electronic.  

Exclusion

Providers with less than 100 prescriptions during the evaluation period. 

What to do in EHRez?

Create and send the prescriptions electronically if it's always allowed (exclude controlled medications). The measure goal is that 40% of prescriptions are electronic. 

Steps to upload measure

• In the Side Bar of the Advanced Progress Note screen, select the Drug Description button.  

• The following screen will be displayed: 
  

• Press the Drug Search button, located at the top of the screen. 
• The following screen will be displayed:

• Once the recipe is created, press the Send eRx, Print + Close or, Save + Close button.
