There are several options for documenting the patient's allergies. 


Option #1

  • Go to the Advanced Progress Note screen. 
  • Click on the Allergies link, located in the Patient Dashboard section.


  • The Allergies & Adverse Reactions screen will be displayed:
  • Press the Add button, located at the top of the screen. 


  • The Detail section will be enabled to add the patient's allergy.

  • Once you have finished documenting the patient's allergy, press the Save button located at the top of the screen.


Option #2

  • Go to the Advanced Progress Note screen.
  • Press the More button, located in the Allergies section of the Patient Dashboard panel.
  • Select the Open Full Page option.


  • Or, press the right mouse button and select the Open Full Page option.


  • In both scenarios, the Allergies & Adverse Reactions screen will be displayed:


  • Press the Add button, located at the top of the screen. 


  • The Detail section will be enabled to add the patient's allergy.

  • Once you have finished documenting the patient's allergy, press the Save button located at the top of the screen.


Option #3 

  • Go to the Advanced Progress Note screen.
  • Press the Main Allergies button, located in the Side Bar section.


  • Or, press the Search button located at the top left of the screen and select the Main Allergies button.
  • The Allergies & Adverse Reactions screen will be displayed:


  • Press the Add button, located at the top of the screen. 


  • The Detail section will be enabled to add the patient's allergy.

  • Once you have finished documenting the patient's allergy, press the Save button located at the top of the screen.


Option #4

  • Go to the Advanced Progress Note screen.
  • Press the Add Allergies button, located in the Side Bar section.


  • Or, click on the Search button located at the top left of the screen and select the Add Allergies button.
  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • Select the type of Allergy:
    • Medication: To add a drug allergy, you will need to follow the instructions below:
      • Press the Search button.
      • The screen to select the desired drug allergy will be displayed. (The user has the option to search for drug allergy by active ingredient or by a specific drug).
  • Once the drug allergy is found, select the drug allergy and double click on it. 
    • Type: When selecting this option, you must write in the box the allergy you wish to search for. Select it from the options that are displayed.
    • Substance: To add a substance allergy, follow the instructions:
      • Press the Search button.
      • The screen for selecting the substance allergy will be displayed.

                     

Note: If the screen displays like this, you should configure the most used options in your office, in Settings / Clinical / Frequent Codes.

  • Search in the Search section and select the substance on the left side of the screen.               
  • If you want to add the allergy as a favorite, click on the gray star. 


  • Then, select twice by double-clicking on it.
    • Note: You can also select and press the Save button.
  • Uncoded: When selecting this option, just type the option in the field.


  • Fill in the other fields such as: Reaction, Severity and Notes, respectively.
  • Press the Save button to save the allergy.



Option #5

  • Go to the Advanced Progress Note screen.
  • Press the More button, located in the Allergies section of the Patient Dashboard panel.
  • Select the Add Allergies option.


  • Or, press the right mouse button and select the Add Allergies option.


  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • Select the type of Allergy:
    • Medication: To add a drug allergy, you will need to follow the instructions below:
      • Press the Search button.

Note: If the screen displays like this, you should configure the most used options in your office, in Settings / Clinical / Frequent Codes.

Option #6

  • Go to the Advanced Progress Note screen.
  • Click on the Allergies link, located in the Clinical Evaluation section.
  • Or, press the Add button, located at the end of the section.


  • In both scenarios, the Allergies & Adverse Reactions screen will be displayed:
  • Press the Add button, located at the top of the screen.


  • The Detail section will be enabled to add the patient's allergy.

  • Once you have finished documenting the patient's allergy, press the Save button located at the top of the screen.
