There are several options to document when a patient does not have allergies.


Option #1

  • Go to the Advanced Progress Note screen.
  • Click on the Allergies link in the Patient Dashboard section.


  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • If the patient has no documented allergies, a message will automatically be displayed in the upper right hand corner of the screen.


  • The message will also be displayed in the Allergies section of the Patient Dashboard.


Option #2

  • Go to the Advanced Progress Note screen.
  • Press the More button, located in the Allergies section of the Patient Dashboard panel.
  • Select the Open Full Page option.


  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • If the patient has no documented allergies, a message will automatically be displayed in the upper right hand corner of the screen.


  • The message will also be displayed in the Allergies section of the Patient Dashboard.


Option #3

  • Go to the Advanced Progress Note screen.
  • Press the Main Allergies button, located in the Side Bar section.


  • Or, press the Search button, located at the top left of the screen and select the Main Allergies option.
  • In both cases, the following screen will be displayed:


  • If the patient has no documented allergies, a message will automatically be displayed in the upper right hand corner of the screen.


  • The message will also be displayed in the Allergies section of the Patient Dashboard.


Option #4

  • Go to the Advanced Progress Note screen.
  • Click on the Allergies link, located in the Clinical Evaluation section.
  • Or, press the Add button, located at the end of the section. 


  • In both cases, the following screen will be displayed:


  • If the patient has no documented allergies, a message will automatically be displayed in the upper right hand corner of the screen.


  • The message will also be displayed in the Allergies section of the Patient Dashboard.
