There are several options for setting the normal vital sign values for a specific patient. 


Option #1

  • Click on the QuickLinks text, located at the top of the screen. 

  • Select the Settings option.

  • The following screen will be displayed: 


  • Press the Clinical button and then select the Vital Signs option. 


  • The following screen will be displayed: 


  • Press the New button, located at the top of the screen, to create a general profile. 


  • The Profile Details section will be enabled. 
  • Check the Is Patient specific box. Then, search for the patient by pressing the Search button.


  • The following screen will be displayed for patient selection (For this example, patient Josefa Del Pueblo was selected).


  • Select the gender of the selected patient. 


  • Select the age range for the selected patient. 


  • Select the type of format, which you want the system to calculate the vital signs (For this example, the English format was selected).


  • Finally, among all normal values, for this patient, from minimum to maximum. 


  • Once you have completed entering the information, press the Save button located at the top of the screen.


 Option #2

  • Press the Settings button in the main menu. 


  • The following screen will be displayed: 


  • Press the Clinical button and then select the Vital Signs option.  


  • The following screen will be displayed: 


  • Press the New button, located at the top of the screen, to create a general profile. 


  • The Profile Details section will be enabled. 
  • Check the Is Patient specific box. Then, search for the patient by pressing the Search button.


  • The following screen will be displayed for patient selection (For this example, patient Josefa Del Pueblo was selected).


  • Select the gender of the selected patient. 


  • Select the age range for the selected patient. 


  • Select the type of format, which you want the system to calculate the vital signs (For this example, the English format was selected).

Option #3

  • Go to the Advanced Progress Note screen. 

  • Then, go to the main patient vital signs recording screen. 

  • Press the Settings button, located at the top of the screen. 

  • The following screen will be displayed: 


  • Press the New button, located at the top of the screen, to create a general profile. 


  • The Profile Details section will be enabled. 
  • Check the Is Patient specific box. Then, search for the patient by pressing the Search button.


  • The following screen will be displayed for patient selection (For this example, patient Josefa Del Pueblo was selected).


  • Select the gender of the selected patient. 


  • Select the age range for the selected patient. 


  • Select the type of format, which you want the system to calculate the vital signs (For this example, the English format was selected).


  • Finally, among all normal values, for this patient, from minimum to maximum.
