Description
Section that allows to configure two-factor authentication, for additional protection of the user's account.
- Press the "Enable Two-Factor Authentication" button.
- Press the "Enable Two-Factor Authentication" button. The following message will be displayed, indicating that an active internet connection is required during system startup and unlocking.
- Press the "Yes" button, to continue with the process of enabling additional protection for the user's cueta.
- Press the "No", button to cancel the action.
- Once you have pressed the "Yes" button, the following screen will be displayed:
- Note: The QR code, must be scanned through a compatible application such as "Microsoft Authenticator" or "Google Authenticator".
For this example, we select the "Microsoft Authenticator" application.
- In the authenticator app of your choice, press the "Add" button, located at the top right of your mobile device.
- The following screen will be displayed:
- Select an option and proceed to scan the code.
- Then type the code that is displayed on your mobile device, in the "Code" section.
- Then press the "Save" button, located at the top of the screen.
- The date on which such protection was enabled, will automatically be displayed.
- To disable the authentication protection of the user's account, press the "Remove" button.
- The following confirmation message will be displayed.
- Press the "Yes" button to remove or disable authentication protection from the user's account.
- Press the "No" button to cancel the action.
- It will automatically be disabled.
