Description
Section dedicated to configuring two-factor authentication for enhanced security of the user's account.
- Click on the Enable Two-Factor Authentication button.
- Click on the Enable Two-Factor Authentication button. A message will appear, indicating that an active internet connection is necessary, during system startup and unlocking.
- Click the Yes button, to proceed with enabling extra security for your account.
- Click the No button to cancel the action.
- After selecting the Yes button, the subsequent screen will appear:
- Note: The QR code must be scanned through a compatible application, such as Microsoft Authenticator or Google Authenticator.
In this example, the Microsoft Authenticator application is selected.
- In your preferred authenticator app, tap the Add button situated at the top right corner of your mobile device screen.
- The following screen will be displayed:
- Choose an option and continue to scan the code.
- Enter the code displayed on your mobile device into the Code field.
- Next, click the Save button located at the top of the screen.
- The date when the protection was enabled will be displayed automatically.
- To disable the authentication protection of the user's account, click on the Remove button.
- The confirmation message will be displayed as follows:
- Click the Yes button to remove or disable authentication protection from the user's account.
- Click the No button to cancel the action.
- It will be disabled automatically.
