There are several options to create a prescription.
Option #1
- Go to the Advanced Progress Note screen.
- Click on the Medication List link, located in the Patient Dashboard section.
- On the Medications screen, press the New Rx button, located at the top of the screen.
- Also, you may click on the Drug Prescription button, located in the Side Bar section.
- Or, click on the Search button located at the top left of the screen and select the Drug Prescription button.
- The following screen will be displayed:
- Press the Drug Search + button, located at the top of the screen. Or, press the Add ANY Drug/Dose From Search option, located in the center of the screen.
- The following screen will be displayed:
- Select the drug(s), which you want to include in the prescription.
Press the Save button, located at the top of the screen.
The screen with the created recipe will be automatically displayed.
The user will be able to add diagnoses, related to the drug, either the patient's assets, by clicking on the dropdown.
Or, press the Search button to add a new diagnosis to the patient.
The following screen will be displayed. Perform the diagnostic search and then press the Add button.
Two diagnoses can be added to the recipe. The selected diagnosis will be automatically displayed.
- If the provider has a pharmacy as a favorite, it will be displayed in the Your Favorites option.
- If the patient has a favorite pharmacy selected, it will be displayed in the Patient Favorites option.
- If no favorite pharmacies are selected, the provider will be able to search through the Near Patient City, Near Office City or Search options.
- Select the pharmacy, to which you want to send the prescription and press the Select button (For this example, we select the patient's favorite pharmacy).
- Once the recipe is completed, press the Send eRx button located at the top of the screen.
- Once the prescription is completed, press the Send + Notify button, located at the top of the screen, if you wish to send the prescription and a notification to the patient via text message.
Opción #2
- Go to the Advanced Progress Note screen.
- Right-click on the Patient Dashboard section and select the New Prescription option.
- Or, click on the More button, located next to the Medication List text, and select the New Prescription option.
- The following screen will be displayed:
- Press the Drug Search + button, located at the top of the screen. Or, press the Add ANY Drug/Dose From Search option, located in the center of the screen.
- The following screen will be displayed:
- Select the drug(s), which you want to include in the prescription.
Press the Save button, located at the top of the screen.
