There are several options for recording the medications administered to the patient.


Option #1

  • Go to the Advanced Progress Note screen.
  • Click on the Medication List link in the Patient Dashboard section.


  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • Press the More button, located at the top of the screen. Then select the Adm Drugs option.


  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • Press the New Drug button, located at the top of the screen. 


  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • Search for the medication, which will be administered to the patient.
  • Once selected, double click on it.


  • Press the Close button to exit the Select Medication screen. 


  • You will automatically be taken to the Administered Drugs screen.
  • Complete the information in the Administered Drug Details column, located on the right side of the screen. 


  • Once the information has been recorded, press the Save button to save the medication administered.


Option #2

  • Go to the Advanced Progress Note screen.
  • Press the More button, located next to the Medications List text and select the Open Full Page option.


  • Or, press the right mouse button and select the Open Full Page option. 


  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • Press the More button, located at the top of the screen. Then select the Adm Drugs option.


  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • Press the New Drug button, located at the top of the screen. 


  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • Search for the medication, which will be administered to the patient.
  • Once selected, double click on it.


  • Press the Close button to exit the Select Medication screen. 


  • You will automatically be taken to the Administered Drugs screen.
  • Complete the information in the Administered Drug Details column, located on the right side of the screen. 


  • Once the information has been recorded, press the Save button to save the medication administered.


Option #3

  • Press the Medication History button, located in the Side Bar section.


  • Or, click on the Search button, located at the top left of the screen and select the Medication History option.
  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • Press the More button, located at the top of the screen. Then select the Adm Drugs option.


  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • Press the New Drug button, located at the top of the screen. 


  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • Search for the medication, which will be administered to the patient.
  • Once selected, double click on it.


  • Press the Close button to exit the Select Medication screen. 


  • You will automatically be taken to the Administered Drugs screen.
  • Complete the information in the Administered Drug Details column, located on the right side of the screen. 


  • Once the information has been recorded, press the Save button to save the medication administered.
